Crypto Tracking Widget · Chrome extension

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 29, 2026

Crypto Tracking Widget ("the extension") shows cryptocurrency prices, charts and alerts while you browse. It needs no account and has no analytics, tracking or ads. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where it goes.

Data stored on your device

Your settings, watchlists, price alerts, chart drawings, tracked positions, portfolio, strategy bots and alert history are stored in your browser (chrome.storage.local). They never leave your device unless you turn on one of the features below. Uninstalling the extension deletes them. You can export or import them from the toolbar popup.

Data sent only when you use a feature

Keys and tokens you enter (license key, Telegram bot token, Discord webhook, Anthropic API key) are stored in your browser and sent only to the service they belong to. The Anthropic API key is never included in backups or sync.

Market data

Prices, charts, order books and other market data are downloaded from public APIs (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Gate, Coinbase, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, DexScreener, GeckoTerminal and similar). Token safety checks send the token's contract address to GoPlus or RugCheck, and network fees are read from public blockchain nodes (publicnode.com) and mempool.space. These requests contain no personal data.

Web pages you visit

The extension shows its widget on the pages you visit and looks for coin tickers such as $BTC to show a price tooltip. This happens on your device only: page content and your browsing history are not recorded or sent anywhere. The address of the current tab is used only to let you hide the widget on that site.

What we do not do

Uninstall survey

If enabled, after you uninstall the extension your browser opens a short optional form. Its address contains only the extension version, the interface language and the number of days it was installed. No identifier is included.

Changes

If the extension starts handling data in a new way, this policy is updated first and the date above changes.
